This fast-track design-build project was a collaboration between Keystone Construction and Brenner for IU Health. The 8,400 s.f. tenant space is located in the lower level of the Indiana Government Center was conceived as a primary care health and wellness center to serve employees of the State of Indiana.
Brenner proposed a dual clinic layout with separate check-in and check-out areas for efficient patient flow and fewer steps for health professionals. The facility included counseling, patient care areas as well as a group patient education room for wellness learning presentations. Other areas included procedure room, pharmacy, staff and dictation areas.
The color scheme focused on a more natural scheme using patterns and textures from nature. The artwork also complimented the design. The design utilized IU Design and Construction standards.
Brenner coordinated the purchasing of all furniture, fixtures and equipment for the project, managed the selection, specification, ordering and installation of everything not provided by the construction in order to meet the tight schedule.
